The conference

SMPGD is an annual meeting dedicated to statistical methods for the analysis of post-genomic data. The workshop aims to bring together contributions spanning the spectrum from mathematical to methodological and applied statistics, as well as emerging areas of high-throughput biology that may raise new statistical challenges and require the development of novel approaches. Further information about the SMPGD conferences is available on the official website.

The workshop is typically structured around three to four thematic sessions featuring a keynote speaker and several invited speakers, complemented by a contributed session featuring oral and poster presentations. As SMPGD places particular emphasis on the statistical, mathematical, algorithmic, computational, and modelling challenges arising from modern biology, presentations are expected to focus on these aspects.
